What types of stainless steel does Lamson use in its products?

We use a variety of excellent quality stainless steels, catered to the specific demands of the specific tools.

Our Premier Forged Knife blades are individually forged from the finest quality 4116 grade high-carbon stainless steel from Germany, giving superb hardness and durability.

Our laser cut Vintage Precision knife blades are fabricated from Lamson’s proprietary 420HC (hi-carbon) stainless steel made in the USA.

All our tools use a variety of American-made 400 and 300 series stainless steels, depending on the size and needs of each specific item.
