Who pays for Freight, Duty and Tariffs on International Orders?

Duties, Tariffs, and Import Taxes are a normal component of International Shipping. These are outside of our control, and by completing checkout you accept responsibility for these charges.

You, the customer, are responsible for all freight, duties and tariffs incurred in your country.

Duties and Taxes:

• Import duties, taxes, VAT, and brokerage fees are NOT included in the product price or shipping and handling cost.
• These charges are assessed and collected by your country’s customs or the carrier when the order is delivered. 
• All these charges are the buyer’s responsibility as we are only charging the transportation fee for your order.  Please check with your country’s customs office to determine if there will be additional costs.

Regulations and Restrictions:

• The buyer is responsible for obtaining information regarding their country’s laws, regulations, and restrictions that may apply when purchasing our products.
• By placing an international order (shipping outside of the United States of America) the buyer is responsible for abiding by their country’s laws, regulations, and restrictions.

Seizure by your Customs Authority or Returns Due to Unpaid Import Taxes

• If a product is seized and abandoned or destroyed by customs, Lamson will NOT be responsible for the losses, product, or shipping refunds.
• Shipping charges will NOT be refunded to you if a package is returned to us due to non-payment of taxes, VAT, Tariffs, etc.
