To be honest, these were to replace the first 3×5 spatula I purchased maybe 5-6 years ago. It used used early day, many times a days. It broke in half during the Kiwanis pancake breakfast, were it had been used as well during that period, flipping hundreds of pancakes. It was my son’s first time at the grill. Luckily it gave out at the end of the event. He tossed the pieces in the garbage. It was the real deal. The smaller one is this pair is the same quality. Metal fatigue just happens.
