Made from the very best German Steel, our full-tang Premier Forged blades are polished and sharpened in our Massachusetts facilities. Handles of exotic imported hardwoods and acrylics are assembled to the blades with triple rivets and then the knives are processed and sharpened to perfection.
The Steak Knife is perfect for slicing cleanly through any type of meat, such as steaks and pork chops, as well as other firm food items. Choose from any of our 4 handle styles, and between Fine and Serrated edges.
4-piece sets are packaged in a great gift box that can be used for storage too!

When my daughter said she wanted steak knives for Christmas, I had no idea I’d end up doing so much research. There are a lot of low quality knives out there. I wanted high quality and something that would last. I finally found Lamson 5” forged steak knives! These knives are beautiful, heavy, without being too heavy, extremely durable, and, best of all….made in America! I was thrilled and she and her fiancé absolutely loved their gift!!! (BTW, the packaging was nice too)

The handle on the Fire edition is beautiful – I love how unique the knife looks and how it presents as art on the table. The blade is plenty sharp and cuts efficiently. Durability is yet to be understood with the test of time. Craftsmanship and box presentation could be better, however, having said that, maybe that’s what you get for the price paid I find that the transition from resin to metal around the handle to not be as seamless as other more expensive brands and the knives arrived with slight demarkations (fingerprints and general handling) that I had to polish off with a soft cloth (full disclosure: I’m aware that I’m a finicky person and that I measure with high standards.) There are more expensive knives on the market and I’m thinking maybe that’s because the craftsmanship of such knives is flawless and they’re presented in giftbox-worthy packaging. Overall, I’m very satisfied and excited to offer these gorgeous, individually handcrafted knives as a wedding gift and furthermore, the person that I dealt with at Lamson, Alicia, provided very patient, courteous and helpful service and didn’t once suggest, in any way, that I was being the pain-in-the-butt that I know I was! Thank you for your generous service, Alicia! Because the knives are handcrafted with quality materials, offer reasonable craftsmanship for the price when compared to more expensive knives on the market, and because of the service received, I would buy from Lamson again : )

I know kitchen knives, after spending years as a Chef and decades home cooking I can appreciate a quality knife. We recently built a new house and I designated a wonderful kitchen. These are the best steak knives I have ever used. The knife goes through a steak or porkchop with almost no pressure at all. I initially thought the 5″ was too long, but it allows me to slice off a bit of food with a single stroke. Plus, these double as amazing slicers for vegetables like tomatoes.

I was looking for some steak knives to add to a set of six German knives that I have had for many years. These straight blade steak knives are the same size and have the same three rivets, so they match my old knives very well (same blade length, but slightly different color handle.) However, these are actually better quality. They have a nice weight, are very sharp, and seem like they will hold an edge. I am really happy with these knives and will consider Lamson for knives again.
