  • Hot-Drop Forged Blades from the very best German Steel, our full-tang Premier Forged blades are polished and sharpened in our Massachusetts facilities. Handles of exotic imported hardwoods and acrylics are assembled to the blades with triple rivets and then the knives are processed and sharpened to perfection.
  • Signature Craftsmanship. Meticulously formed in our Massachusetts facilities, each of our knives is finished to perfection using state-of-the-art technology coupled with hand finishing as well as proprietary polishing and sharpening processes.
  • Unmatched Blade Quality. Blades are precision-forged from the finest high-carbon Grade 4116 stainless steel from Solingen, Germany, using the traditional hot-drop method. Blades are then tempered and ice-hardened to a perfect 58 on the Rockwell Hardness Scale. This results in a hard, wickedly sharp blade that retains an edge for longer and is both highly corrosion-resistant and elastic.

Very Nice Slicer

This is a beautiful knife. Fit and finish is great, as have been my experience with all the Lamson Premier Forged knives. It arrived sharp and balance and feel in hand are very nice. Highly recommended.

Excellent quality

The feel of the knife in the hand is excellent and the cutting blade is amazingly efficient. I'm happy I came upon this brand in a local shop.

I have a set of Lamson knives. When they are sharp, they are easy to use and I love them. I try to keep them sharp by honing them with a steel and not using the sharp edge to scrape a cutting board (use the flat side if you don't have another tool to do that). I also avoid using the kitchen knives for cutting on dinner plates etc. I also don't use them for opening cardboard boxes. I also store them properly in a cutting block (not uncovered in a kitchen drawer). Since they are not cheap, I maintain them properly (like applying mineral oil to the wood handles). But they do get dull. So I am happy that I can send the blades in for sharpening at no cost (other than shipping both ways). I recently decided that I could not live for a couple of weeks without my 8" carving knife while it was being sharpened. So I bought a second one. If I had more counter space I would definitely have another set to use as a backup or for my other family members to use when they are helping prepare big meals. I wish I got paid for the great review, but alas, I am just a happy customer not a paid spokesperson.
