Made from the very best German Steel, our full-tang Premier Forged blades are polished and sharpened in our Massachusetts facilities. Handles of exotic imported hardwoods and acrylics are assembled to the blades with triple rivets and then the knives are processed and sharpened to perfection.

The Bread Knife’s serrated edge effortlessly cuts through tough, crusty foods without crushing their soft interior. Not just for bread, these knives are also great for large fruits, such as cantaloupe, pineapple and watermelon.

Features

  • Signature Craftsmanship. Meticulously formed in our Massachusetts facilities, each of our knives is finished to perfection using state-of-the-art technology coupled with hand finishing as well as proprietary polishing and sharpening processes. You will never find a better Forged knife anywhere.
  • Unmatched Blade Quality. Blades are precision-forged from the finest high-carbon Grade 4116 stainless steel from Solingen, Germany, using the traditional hot-drop method. Blades are then tempered and ice-hardened to a perfect 58 on the Rockwell Hardness Scale.. This results in a hard, wickedly sharp blade that retains an edge for longer and is both highly corrosion-resistant and elastic.
  • Gorgeous & Ergonomic Handles. Knives come with a choice of 5 sleek and sturdy handles of either Tough Acrylic (Fire Series & ICE Series), Striated Wood (SIERRA), Infused Walnut, or incredibly strong G-10 (Midnight Series).
  • Superior Handling & Cutting Performance. Full tang blades with triple-riveted handles ensure ideal balance and weight. Our combination machine and hand-sharpening processes ensures a consistently sharp and durable edge.
  • Lifetime Warranty. Every Lamson product comes with a Lifetime Warranty against manufacturing defects
  • Guaranteed reliability. Our Sharp for Life™ program supplies a lifetime of complimentary professional sharpening on every knife we make.

All of my knives (paring, bread, steak, santoku, chef’s, carving) are Lamsons. In the 54 years I’ve been cooking, these perform the best. Some of them are old Lanson-Sharps and some are the new Lamsons. Plus, they are made in the USA!
I would recommend these knives anyday.

  2. Marie R. (verified owner)

This knife cuts bread so easily it amazes me. We eat a lot of crusty breads and slicing is easy, the slices are the straight and the size of the blade is perfect. Also, love the heaviness.
    Highly recommend this knife!

  3. Ben (verified owner)

This thing was way too sharp, I needed it to cut crusty homemade sourdough bread, not split atoms. I used a cheap breadknife before this and quickly I found that I didn’t need to put as much weight behind this knife; and just use a more gentle sawing motion. Putting too much force behind it results in deep grooves or cuts in your work surface or cutting board. Trust the tool and it’ll take care of you. Also, those G-10 midnight handles are choice. I’d love to get the fire series, but G-10 is such a good handle material, I went that route instead.
