   I bought two pairs of these shears. One for me and one for my son. We both like them. They are definitely sharp and a nice weight to use. I like them better since I got mine to come apart to wash them. They were tight at first. I use scissors a lot when cooking so appreciate getting a really nice pair.

    I have been searching for a pair of sturdy take apart shears for awhile. These are as good as it gets. Sturdy and sharp. These are the only pair of scissors you need.

    Impressed with these shears. It did take me a minute to figure out the breakaway, and I may have lightly stabbed myself once trying to handle these when the prongs were separated, but now that I have trained myself in safe handling, I love these. They are extremely sharp. Next level.

    The best feature of these shears is “precision!” They cut beautifully and are so easy to take apart and clean. Since I am a “lefty” using shears is always a challenge – these shears are a dream to use left-handed. I’ve cut up everything from veggies to a whole chicken. Amazingly, these shears don’t “look” like they could handle the big tasks – but there is no flex to the blades and they will go through very heavy fat and tissue. Couldn’t be more pleased.

    The scissors are very sharp and helpful when cutting poultry. It took me a minute to figure out how to put them back together but I’m glad they separate. It allows you to clean them really well.

    The scissors are nice and sharp, but the best feature is that they separate easily into two pieces. This makes them so easy to clean, but they also feel very secure when put together.

    Having reviewed a number of high-quality shears, I bought a pair Lamson shears decades ago. Cheaper shears came and went, but the Lamson shears were always the best in the drawer. Then I lost them (I left them on the counter dis-assembled. I think the maids thought they were trash).
    I tried to replace them, and found high quality shears, but not quite what I wanted. Then Lamson told me they made some more.
    So, I’m happy again.
    And I’m pleased than an old American manufacturer can still produce as good a product as any other manufacturer, world wide.

    They’re perfect. They don’t try to be a knife, a can opener, a bottle opener, a potato peeler. They’re shears, and they’re the best at being just that. Ergonomics were perfect. Finish is smooth, clean, and looks like it belongs in an operating room. Once in hand, they’re effective, require enough effort that you’re in control, and remind you you’re doing something.
    They’re shears. Wonderfully, beautifully crafted, shears.

    While I don’t normally write reviews on products, these kitchen shears deserve a note. They are well balance, sharp, and easy to clean. They are probably more expensive than other shears, but well worth the extra cost. They will most likely last decades if properly maintained.
