   I used to have a “ real granny fork,” years ago, so when I saw your ad I couldn’t wait to buy one in each size. I find myself reaching more often for the longer fork- you can really get a grip on whatever you’re spearing or slicing. Perhaps I’ll use the smaller one to spear food out of jars

   Wonderful , I have been looking for this for a long time very similar to my grandmothers fork she always used thank you so much. It was a little pricey but I’m sure it will get handed down to the next generation as well!

   I loved the fork but made the mistake of putting it into the dishwasher. Now the wooden handles are loose. Lesson learnt, do not put Lamson utensils in the dishwasher

   I have a similar 7″ 3-tine, wood-handle fork that was my mother’s. I use it daily and though my daughters might like them, as well. These are Christmas presents for them, so my experience using them is not applicable. I did compare it to my old, well crafted fork and they compare very closely and the construction is sturdy.

    I purchased two of these forks. I had been using older ones and the handle on one was deteriorating after 30 years so I just knew I needed 2 to make sure I always had them. Love the smaller-sized ones and the sharpness of the points. I use them all the time.

    This was bought for a 101 lady. She mentioned many times at dinner that she had a fork with sharp tips and had loved it. She did not like the forked we had because the tines are too wide and dull.
    So I found this on line and gave it to and she loves it. I guess ar 101 you know what you like.

    Wood handled cooking forks might not seem like a big deal but Lamson’s products make the utilitarian appealing. They are effective and durable. They won’t melt after inadvertent contact with heat or flame and they will be around for years to come.

    Admittedly there was a nostalgia factor that played a role in purchasing the granny fork. I went with the 7” 3-tine fork. It is my favorite tool. From turning meatballs in the skillet while browning, to holding the smallest of foods while doing fine knife work. Nostalgia aside, this is my go to tool. Highly functional and very handy.

    I used to be able to buy a granny fork from a variety of vendors whenever I needed a new one. This year I searched EVERYWHERE and stores didn’t even know what I was talking about.
