Weak gripping power

First use I found these underwhelming especially for the price. These struggled to grip small pieces of chicken. Basically the tongs just have too much flex. They are also too short to allow your hand to stay far enough away from the heat

Needs a redesign

Thought these look great but they aren’t very functional. They could be redesigned to be much better. They are far too short. Your hand is way too close to the heat when grilling. You basically can’t turn more than one thing at a time because you have to pull your hand back from the heat immediately. They tire your hand out very quickly. It takes too much pressure to close and keep closed when holding onto something. Needs some kind of typical spring mechanism to alleviate this. The ends could also be improved to grip and hold things better. Fix those three things please! Would also like to see a pigtail turner.

Disappointing

I've had these for several years now. They are poorly-designed. Flimsy, as the metal bends when you try to pick anything up. The "gaitor" jaws don't help. Given their angle and overall shape they don't grab well. Maybe these work as long as your food item is a specific size, shape, and weight. Anything slightly too small or heavy, forget it.

Quality piece. Not flimsy like imports.

These are the perfect size. Nothing flimsy about them. The teeth and the angle they�re set at are truly functional, providing a very secure grasp. The size, while long enough to keep you comfortable over open flame, aren�t so unwieldy that they can be used for more precise and delicate work. The walnut handles provide a comfortable and protective grip as well as being pleasant to look at. From a chef who obsesses over simplistic, quality, and functional kitchen tools, these are truly outstanding!
