This silicone hotspot has a nice feel to the touch, it is light but sturdy and works well as a trivet or to use when taking a hot pot handle in lieu of an oven mitt. It washed nicely and stores easily without taking up a lot of space. Would buy again!

These are just great to set pans on or hot dishes to protect your counter. I have one on my counter that I rest a borosilicate pitcher on while brewing iced tea. It’s green and matches my canister set pretty well. I was a little surprised that you had changed the colors of red and green a bit. The new ones don’t match the ones I have from a couple of years ago. Still like them. Might have to buy more for better matching. I prefer the bumpy hot spots over the honeycomb style because they clean up so easily.

Really like these HotSpots. Nice thick silicone with raised circular bumps. So much better than the most prevalent designs online, which are thinner, with a waffle-like pattern. If you grip one of those too tightly, the grid flattens out, and I definitely felt heat from the hot tray I was lifting. Additionally that pattern of small waffle indentations make them more difficult to clean. It took me quite awhile to find the Hotspots online, after having had a pair that I left behind at my host’s home. I won’t make that mistake again. ,o)

The hot spot works great for non-slip resting of hot bakeware and pans, a non slip rest for sharpening my knives, and as a jar opener. Cleans easily on the top rack of my dishwasher. Find myself using it daily!
