Vintage 6″ Small Chinese Santoku Cleaver

This is the 6″ Smaller cousin of the 8″ Large Chinese Santoku Cleaver. This great knife is your answer to it all! “Chop, cut, crush, whatever!”

The Vintage Series features an updated ergonomically friendly hand-finished stabilized walnut handle that has a traditional, timeless look and feel. The sleek integrated bolster allows for a traditional or pinch-grip. The brass rivets complement the walnut handle and accent the stainless steel blade.

The Large size has a 8″ Blade while this version has a 6″ blade. This may not sound like a big difference, but believe me it is different. The 6″ blade is just that smaller enough for those who don’t need a large cleaver/chopper, but still want to be able to do the same things that the bigger one does.

To protect your cleavers we suggest our American made and crafted Leather Sheaths from 12oz Wickett and Craig English vegetable tanned bridle leather. Extra strong Brass Rivets and Snap keep the sheath firmly in place for storage.

As is the nature of handmade goods created from natural materials, you may experience minor variations in shape color and appearance. These normal variations add character and uniqueness to your handmade leather product.

Care & Sharpening

• Hone the blade edge regularly with a honing steel or whetstone. Lamson’s 10″ Vintage Sharpening (Honing Steel) #39800 is ideal for the job
• If edge becomes dull even after honing, please have the blade professionally sharpened or send back to Lamson for Free Sharpening
• Hand-wash your cleaver with warm soapy water
• Dry immediately with a soft clean cloth
• Dishwasher is NOT recommended
• Periodically apply Lamson’s TreeSpirit Mineral Oil (05097/05099) to the handle to prevent drying out
• Get a SET of Beekeeper’s Gold Beeswax and 8 oz. Mineral Oil to protect BOTH your knife and sheath
