What is Sharp For Life?
“Sharp for Life" is Lamson's factory knife sharpening program, provided as a lifelong benefit for Lamson customers. It is important to Lamson that our customers can choose to have their knives sharpened by the skilled craftsmen who originally manufactured them.
- “Sharp For Life” is for Lamson knives only
- Only send knives! Please do not send tools, scissors or shears
- We DO NOT charge to sharpen the knives
- You pay postage to and from the factory
What you need to do
Step 1: Choose the number of knives you are sending in and add to cart
Step 2: Click Checkout and enter descriptions of the knives you are returning.
Step 3: Finish checkout and pay for the return postage. For example: If you are sending in 3 knives, choose 1-3 knives, enter 1 and pay $12.00
Step 4: Make sure you include a copy of the order with your package
Step 5: Safely pack up your knives as directed below and ship them to Lamson
How to Safely pack your knives for shipment
- Carefully wrap clean Lamson knives in bubble wrap and/or several layers of newspaper and/or cardboard sleeves.
- Next, securely pack contents into a shipping box including packing paper, wrap, packaging sleeves, and/or shipping peanuts.
- It is important to pay extra special attention to the tips of knives so that they are packaged with enough care to ensure their safety, as well as the safety of package handlers.

Please anticipate a 2-week turnaround under normal conditions. During peak periods like Thanksgiving and December, it may take longer.
