Grilled BBQ Chicken Recipe
This Memorial Day, we’re all in the mood for a tasty cookout! The sun is out and so is the grill. Let’s take out our Lamson BBQ Set and make this tasty Grilled BBQ Chicken.
Ingredients
Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Chicken:
Rinse the chicken breasts and pat them dry with paper towels.
Season the chicken with salt and pepper on both sides.
- 2
Make the Buttery BBQ Sauce:
In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter.
Once the butter is melted, add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
Stir in the barbecue sauce, honey, Worcestershire sauce, apple cider vinegar, smoked paprika, and onion powder.
Bring the mixture to a simmer and let it cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Remove from heat and set aside.
- 3
Grill the Chicken:
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
Oil the grill grates to prevent the chicken from sticking.
Place the chicken breasts on the grill and cook for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- 4
Baste with Buttery BBQ Sauce:
During the last few minutes of grilling, generously brush the chicken with the buttery BBQ sauce.
Flip the chicken and brush the other side with the sauce as well.
Continue grilling for another 1-2 minutes per side to allow the sauce to caramelize slightly.
- 5
Serve:
Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes.
Garnish with chopped fresh parsley if desired.
Serve with additional BBQ sauce on the side.
